Fortnite Event Time Countdown: Season 10 Live Event Leaks, New Maps, More
Fortnite Down Update 5
If like us you couldn’t watch the Fortnite event because the servers were completely dead, then you can recap it all and watch below.
Fortnite Down Update 4
A reminder that if this black hole is really some kind of server downtime for the game, then the game could be offline for between 1 and 4 hours.
With Epic Games not providing any information at this time, it’s hard to say exactly what the plan is.
Especially with the pretty literal media blackout across all Fortnite social media channels.
We will be sure to keep you updated with all the information as it becomes available.
Stay tuned for more information.
Fortnite Down Update 3
Fortnite is down.
As for what just happened? We are still not sure.
We’re told the map has been wiped out and now it’s just this crazy black hole.
Twitch crashed, Epic Games crashed, and pretty much everything Fortnite is down and not working.
To make matters worse, Fortnite.com Currently points to a twitch stream, but with Twitch down it’s just a massive power outage.
Fortnite Event Update 2 –
We’re now just over an hour away from the impending Fortnite Live Event and it’s time to start preparing.
It’s also worth remembering that if you intend to jump into a watching game, you will likely need to be in a standard game.
Regardless, Playground Playlist and Creative Playlists are currently disabled, so you’ll only have one option to watch the event anyway.
Likewise, as we’ve seen for the past few months, you won’t have to worry about being killed during the event.
We believe this was the last rocket launch when someone infamously murdered a huge collection (50+?) Of players in one go.
These players were trying to watch the original Fortnite Rocket event and, as you can imagine, it didn’t go well.
Stay tuned for updates!
Fortnite Event 1 Update –
As we will undoubtedly have seen, the illustrations appearing to come from the new Fortnie Chapter 2 map were disclosed on Friday evening.
However, in a follow-up, Lucas7yoshi, the popular Fortnite leaker, also took to Twitter with a leak, writing:
“I would say there’s an 80% chance it’s the poi from Season 11 / Chapter 2.”
This was then followed by a list of supposed places of interest from the new map. These locations are as follows:
Beachy Blufs, Camp Cod, Creative Island, Dirty Docks, Frenzy Farm, Holly Hedges, Lazy Lake, Mountain Medow, Power Plant, Slurpy Swamp, Sunny Shores and Weeping Woods.
Stay tuned for more information later today.
Original story – Fortnite Season 10 will end epic this weekend with an aptly named event called⦠The End.
Don’t worry, this isn’t the end of all things, as it will be quickly followed by Fortnite Season 11.
But that doesn’t make it any less dramatic, as there is now an apocalyptic clock on top of a rocket at Dusty Depot.
And time is running out, which means the big Season X live event is just around the corner.
But what will happen? When will this happen?
As usual, Epic Games have been pretty tight-lipped on what’s going to happen, but to bring you up to speed, here’s everything we know about The End event.
When does Fortnite The End start?
According to countdowns, the Fortnite Season 10 event will begin on Sunday, October 13 at 7 p.m. BST, 2 p.m. ET, or 11 a.m. PT.
What will happen during the Fortnite The End event?
As usual, the live event will bring Fortnite Season 10 to a close and lay the groundwork for Season 11.
We don’t know much about what is going to happen, except that it is very clear that it will involve the Visitor.
You will remember him as the time traveling guy whose Season 4 rocket created a rift in the sky.
The Visitor returned in Season 10, but is now known as the Scientist.
He started building a rocket at Dusty Depot – and we expect the rocket to be launched when the countdown expires.
But there’s more – the characters have apparently been infected by the BRUTE robots with some sort of virus.
It blew them up as soon as they appeared.
There are many theories as to what will happen, one being that the map could be completely destroyed.
This means that there could be a whole new map with new locations.
Epic also announced that they will be bringing bots, or AI players, into the game.
When does Fortnite season 11 start?
Epic Games has yet to officially confirm the start of Season 11.
The next season of the Battle Royale game was supposed to start last week, but it has been delayed.
A new season usually starts immediately after the end of the previous season.
So while we expect Season 11 to begin immediately, there have been instances where a new season follows a few days later.
It’s also not usual for Epic Games to end a season on a weekend, so anything can happen.
Fortnite Season 11 Battle Pass:
As usual, we expect the Fortnite Season 11 Battle Pass to cost $ 9.99 (£ 7.60), or 950 V-Bucks.
It’s the same as all the other seasons.
There will probably also be a boosted version that will automatically push you up to 25 levels. This typically costs 2,800 V-Bucks.
